New Plot Details And Cast Revealed For The Incredibles 2

Hope you're ready to put on your super suit again. Last year, Pixar and Disney showed off a teaser to The Incredibles 2, the upcoming sequel to the popular 2004 film. Today fans clamoring for even more details got some delivered through the official voice casting announcement.

The Incredibles 2 is bringing back old favorites like Holly Hunter, Brad Bird, and Craig T Nelson while also making way for new cast members, like Breaking Bad's Bob Odenkirk and Johnathan Banks. Here's the official synopsis included with the announcement if you're not bothered by spoilers:

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

The movie flies into theaters June 15.
