Rocket League Could Have Cross-Platform Party Support By Years End

In recent years, competitive players have clamored more than ever for cross-platform support to come to their game of choice, whether it's a shooter, sports game, or something else. Some titles like Rocket League are close to making that dream a reality across all the platforms it supports – Sony is the only holdout left – but you still don't have a great way to communicate with players on other platforms. That may be changing soon.

Currently, Psyonix can match PC, Xbox One, and Switch players, and soon they'll be able to join the same parties as well. This could greatly improve communication between team members. 

Fielding a question related to the topic on Twitter, a Psyonix representative revealed the team's timeline for this implementation. 

Rocket League is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
