Speed-running event Awesome Games Done Quick raises record $2.2 million for charity
Charity speed-running event Awesome Games Done Quick is over for another year, and its organisers have revealed the total, record-breaking amount raised.
Awesome Games Done Quick 2018 launched last Sunday, January 7th and - after seven non-stop days and over 150 speed-runs - managed to amass an impressive $2,282,921.86 for charity through donations, at the time of writing; that's the highest amount raised since the event began in 2010.
