Doom On Switch Adds Gyro Aiming In Patch
The newest patch for Doom on the Switch adds gyro aiming, allowing players to make small tweaks to aiming controls in addition to analog control.
The patch, which brings the game up to version 1.1.1, fixes a number of audio and visual glitches that players have been asking to be fixed since release. On the Doom twitter account, a patch to fix the glitches was announced a week ago, but the gyro aiming came as a last minute surprise.
The update also adds motion melee and sensitivity options.

Our Take
Using gyro to make fine adjustments is very useful, so it's good that Bethesda has added it to Doom. I'm actually more eager to give the game a try now, despite owning it on two other platforms.
