Pokémon Go Celebrates The Year Of The Dog By Filling The World With Dogs
Valentine's Day is behind us, and with that, Pokémon Go's Luvdisc infestation is as well. However, you shouldn't think that things are going right back to normal in Pokémon Go. Niantic has announced that it's transitioning straight into its next mini event: a celebration of the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dog.
Starting today until February 17, Pokémon Go will feature more of its dog creatures Poochyena, Growlithe, Eevee, Snubbull, and Electrike. In addition, catching those Pokémon will yield triple the stardust, adding incentive to throw some balls at them even if you already have their evolved forms.
Unfortunately, the legendary dogs from Gen 2 are absent from this event, meaning that Rayquaza will be the sole legendary raid with Kyogre stepping aside.
