Total War: Thrones of Britannia gets April release date
Total War: Thrones of Britannia, the first of the series' smaller Saga titles, will be released on the 19th April for £29.99.
The game begins in 878AD, following the Viking invasion of Britain, as an uneasy truce promises peace between the Anglo-Saxon and Viking forces for the first time in almost a century. Given that the game is called 'Total War', I suspect that probably won't remain the case. That's just my gut feeling, anyway.
We've already played a couple of hours of Thrones of Britannia and you can hear a little more about that in the video below. There's a smidgen of new gameplay too.
