Final Sea Of Thieves Beta Sailing Off This Weekend

If you've enjoyed its previous beta sessions, or are merely Sea of Thieves-curious, this is your last weekend to check out the game before it launches in a few weeks. The final beta has set sail, and will be running through the weekend. And even if you've made the voyage before, this last look at the multiplayer pirate game includes a new way to play.

The final beta has started now and is running through 2 a.m. Pacific on Sunday, March 11. Up to four players can work together as a pirate crew, hitting the high seas, tracking down treasure, and battling other sea dogs. This last beta includes a new set of challenges, too. Players can take on new merchant-alliance voyages, where they have to roam the world to track down and deliver livestock. Additionally, skeleton forts are in the beta, which provide even more challenging battles – with the potential of better loot rewards.

Sea of Thieves is coming to Xbox One on March 20. Check out our recent episode of New Gameplay Today below to see how our four-man team fared against the sea (and ourselves).
