Fortnite teases guided missiles and Easter event, both arriving "soon"
As ever, it's all go in Fortnite; developer Epic has revealed that guided missiles and an Easter-themed questline are coming to Fortnite, and that an exclusive new pickaxe will be available to Twitch Prime subscribers from tomorrow.
Let's begin with the guided missiles though. The new weapon first came to players' attention when it popped up in Fortnite's New Updates section yesteday, bearing the description "Remote control destruction from above". Guided missiles are "coming soon" and Epic has now offered a glimpse of them in action, via the brand-new cinematic teaser trailer below.
Also incoming is an Easter-themed event for Fortnite's Save the World mode. Specifics are scarce, but Epic has posted an image to its Twitter page, showing a rabbit-suited hero fending off zombies and protecting a stash of brightly-coloured eggs. "The Three Huskateers Questline begins soon," reads the accompanying description, "Get egg-cited!"
