May's Xbox Live Games With Gold Includes Vanquish, Metal Gear Solid V
The rewards for being an Xbox Live Gold member (beyond being able to play the console online, among other things) includes two third-person game with a lot of style, and two games that aren't that.
Although it was included as PlayStation Plus game a few months back, Xbox One players can finally pick up Metal Gear Solid V for free. And you should, because it's a good game! If you're looking for something to sink your teeth into this May and don't own a PS4, this is a good bet. It will be available from May 16 through June 15.
If you're looking for something short and sweet, however, Sega and Platinum's stylish shooter Vanquish should fit the bill on Xbox 360 (and Xbox One, through backwards compatibility). While it's not as good as MGSV, it's picked up a small cult following, and who knows - you might just find yourself in it if you pick up. It will be available May 16 through 31.
The last two games for the month are Super Mega Baseball 2 on Xbox One (which actually launches on May 1, making it a Rocket League situation launches with a premium service where you can pick up for free until May 31), and the Sega Vintage collection version of Streets of Rage (available on Xbox One/360 from May 1 though 15).
