Google's Halloween game this year is a multiplayer version of Snake
As pretty much everyone's first stop on the internet, you may have noticed Google is looking a little different today. Like in previous years, the usual logo has been replaced with an interactive Halloween game - but this time Google's taken things a step further, as this particular doodle is multiplayer.
Great Ghoul Duel sees players fight it out to collect as many spirit flames as possible and bring them back to your team's collection point. The difficulty is that the other team is also vying for the same flames, and can steal them from your tail if you get too close. If you successfully deposit enough spirit flames, you can even earn power ups like "night vision" and increased speed to help you collect more goodies. In simple terms, it's a spoopy multiplayer version of Snake. If you're too young to remember that game, I'd suggest ghoulgling it.
But Halloween's no fun on your own - ask any victim in a horror movie. Thankfully you can invite your friends to join in the fun by hosting a game and sharing a joining link with your friends. Alternatively, you can play with strangers online to make up the numbers.
