Nintendo is set to announce the next character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate today at 2pm UK time in a 35-minute livestream.

Smash Bros. boss Masahiro Sakurai will be on hand to reveal the character, show off their moves and maybe, hopefully, also talk about the next wave of fighters due in the game's already-confirmed second season pass.

Tune in this afternoon for a look at the new fighter - whoever they may be. Fan chatter has talked of Byleth... but would Nintendo really add yet another Fire Emblem rep? (Yes, it absolutely would.)
