Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Journey free on PS4 later this week
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey will be free to download on PS4 later this week as part of Sony's newly revealed Play At Home initiative.
Sony Interactive president and CEO Jim Ryan unveiled the initiative earlier today (thanks Hollywood Reporter), explaining that Play At Home will consist of two components: free games "to help keep the PlayStation community entertained at home" during the coronavirus outbreak, and the establishment of a $10 million USD fund designed to help smaller independent game studios "who may be experiencing financial difficulties continue building great experiences for all gamers".
Details of the fund will be revealed at a later date, but Sony has already announced its first batch of games - Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey - which will be free to download on the PlayStation Store from 4am, Wednesday 16th April in the UK and 8pm PT, 15th April in the US.
