XCOM: Chimera Squad is a standalone XCOM 2 follow-up due this month
XCOM 2 is getting a standalone follow-up, Chimera Squad, which is due to launch via Steam on 24th April.
You can pre-order it now for £8.49/$10, a 50 per cent discount which will be valid until 1st May. After that, it's £17/$20.
This new story is set five years after XCOM 2 wrapped up, with a fresh team in a new city - a place supposed to be "a model of peace in a post-invasion world". Humans and aliens are working together, and there's a guy who sounds a lot like Mordin Solus from Mass Effect.
