World War Z's latest update brings cross-play support to PlayStation 4

Developer Saber Interactive's enormously popular co-op zombie shooter World War Z has just received a new update, this time adding, among other things, full cross-play support between Xbox One, PS4, and PC via the Epic Games Store.

World War Z initially introduced cross-play earlier this year, but only for those on Xbox One and PC. With PlayStation 4 now thrown into the mix, players on all platforms can team up on official servers to tackle PvE missions, as well as the game's wave-based Horde Mode Z.

Today's update adds a little more besides expanded cross-play, however, including the first new playable class to be introduced since World War Z's launch last year.
