Modern Warfare 2's "partied up" crash should be fixed later today
Modern Warfare 2 developer Infinity Ward says it will be "deploying a mitigation" to address crashes that occur when players are "partied up" later today.
In a tweet overnight, Infinity Ward confirmed that it was "aware that some players [are] experiencing crashes when partied up" and invited players to "stay tuned" whilst it investigation the cause of the issue.
A few hours later, Infinity updated the message and whilst it stopped short of giving a specific deadline as to when the issue will be resolved, it did confirm that a fix would be coming sometime on Saturday 29th October (afternoon/evening for Europeans, morning for Americans in the Pacific Daytime Time zone).
